Wendell Burke enters his fourth season at the helm of the Morgan State bowling program. Burke also became just the third head coach in the history of the Lady Bears’ program when he was hired prior to the 2012-13 campaign.
Burke came to Morgan State after serving as head coach at crosstown rival Coppin State for five years in two different stints for the Eagles. In his final season at Coppin State, Burke led Coppin State to a school record for wins during the 2011-12 campaign.
Burke will guide a Lady Bears' squad which went 58-49 overall last season and finsihed third in the MEAC North Division with a 20-10 league record.
