Biography
At Morgan State...Tia enters her 2nd season as a "Lady Bear" with plenty of potential. The Yorktown, VA native has done a great job of working hard to refine her game. She often provided a great deal of energy and showed signs of developing into a major contributor for "Lady Bear" hoops this season and beyond. If Tia is able to step up her game it will mean great things for Morgan State athletics this season.
2002-2003...Appeared in 27 games...averaged 19.9 minutes per game...averaged 4.0 points per game...had 15 points vs. Hampton (1/11/03)...shot 75% (6-8) vs. Hampton (2/13/03)...scored two 3 pointers vs. Howard (2/3/03)...was 4-4 from the free throw line vs. Rider (12/03/02)...collected 9 rebounds vs. Hampton (1/11/03)...had 3 steals vs. Towson (12/21/03) and Rider (12/03/02).
High School...Played volleyball for 2 years and basketball for 4 years...she had several dominating performances, including a 38 point/20 rebound effort in leading her squad to a 47-42 victory over Stonebridge HS...she averaged 20.2 points and 13.1 rebounds in her senior season.
Personal...Born May 13, 1984...daughter of Robert and Tina Henry...Electrical Engineering major.
