Bianca Benjamin enters her first year as Business Manager for the 2023-24 academic year. She moves into her new role after spending the previous year on the Morgan State women’s basketball staff as the Director of Operations for the 2022-2023 season.
As the Director of Basketball Operations, Benjamin provided the day-to-day administrative support for the program and oversaw the budget. Her responsibilities also included assisting with scheduling, coordinating travel, managing gameday operations, maintaining the team’s calendar, and serving as the program liaison for athletic administrative areas.
Benjamin was an integral part of the Lady Bears as a team manager in 2018-2019. Her outstanding effort led to earning the title of Head Manager her sophomore year in 2019-20.
She broke into intercollegiate finance in her sophomore year here at Morgan State in 2019 as an intern financial analyst under the supervision of Shawn Gooden, Assistant Director of Fiscal Operations. Bianca assisted in reconciling the department general ledger, developed departmental budgets. Bianca distributed detailed monthly operating budgets for teams, and administration for the athletic department to ensure accuracy and accountability.
