Biography

2020 (Junior): A MEAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team selection...Named to the MEAC Softball All-Academic Team…Started all 16 games played before the season came to an end due to the Covid-19 pandemic…Batted .300 with 40 at bats…Finished third on the team in hits with 12, had two doubles, seven runs, four RBIs, 14 total bases and walked four times…Recorded two hits, two runs and an RBI in the season finale win over Maryland Eastern Shore (3/8)…Went 2-for-2 with three runs scored, an RBI and a walk against Stetson (2/21) in the opener of the Diamond 9 Tournament in Orlando, Fla….Totaled two hits at Elon (2/15).
 
2019 (Sophomore): Named to the MEAC Softball All-Academic Team…Started four of the 29 games played in, finishing with 16 at bats, eight runs, three hits, an RBI, two walks and two stolen bases…Had a hit, RBI, run scored and stole a base against Cornell (4/2)…Scored a run and drew a walk at Presbyterian (2/9) in the Presbyterian Blue Hose Invitational.
 
2018 (Freshman): Helped lead the Bears to a school-record 28-17 record...Also led team to its first MEAC North Division Championship with a 15-3 record…Appeared in 32 games, making two starts...Had a .222 batting average with nine at bats, two hits, 14 runs, two RBIs, five stolen bases and a walk...Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs against Maryland Eastern Shore (4/21)…Recorded a season-high two stolen bases at Howard (3/31).

High School: Lettered in softball at Bishop O’Connell High…Helped the Knights to a 27-0 record during her senior season in 2017…That year the Knights would claim the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) title the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division I State title and finished ranked fourth in the country by USA Today a third-place finish in the country…Earned both first and second-team All-WCAC honors…Was coached by Tommy Orndorff…Earned academic second honors as a junior and senior…Was a member of the African-American Club and Students Against Drunk Driving (S.A.D.D.) Club.
