Biography

Junior (2006): Was named the team’s MVP…Started in all 39 games played, ranking second in put-outs with 148 and tied for second in hits (31)…Finished fourth in batting average (.282), third in at bats (110) and runs scored (17), second in doubles with six and fifth in slugging percent at .336...Recorded hits in 31 games, including a season-long 12-game hitting streak near the end of the season and had six multiple hit games…Tallied two hits in four at bats, including a double with a run and a RBI against UMES (2/28)…Drove in a season-high two RBIs in a victory over South Carolina State at the MEAC Round-Up (4/10)…Notched two hits in four at bats, scored two runs and had a walk at Coppin State (4/5)…Had a season-high two walks against Delaware State (3/26)…Was a perfect 2-for-2, including a RBI and scored a season-high three runs in a 13-3 win at Virginia State (2/19)…Began the season with a 2-for-2 performance with a run, walk and a stolen base in the season-opener at South Carolina State (2/17).  

Juco Transfer: Earned MVP of the Year as a catcher for the Monroe College Lady Mustangs…Was selected First-Team All-Region and Second-Team All American…Had a .380 batting average.

High School: Attended Bronx Leadership Academy during the 2005 season.
