Biography
2010-2011 (Junior) During the indoor season, qualified for the IC4A championships in both the 200m and 400m dash, and also helped the 4x400m relay team to a 5th place finish in the finals at those championships. Following a productive indoor season, helped the 4x400m relay team run a time of 3:08 at the Florida Relays and also qualifying for the Penn Relay Finals, the IC4A Championships, and the NCAA East Regional Championships.
2009-2010 (Sophomore): Suffered from a pulled hamstring after the first indoor meet, came back and contributed to the 4x4 team, running 3:09 at the Florida Relays and making it back to the IC4A section finals at the Penn Relays.
2008-2009 (Freshman): Ran first leg on the 2nd Place MEAC Indoor Championship 4x4 team, and also made it to the Indoor IC4A finals.
High School: Ran track and field for North Cobb High...As a senior placed seventh in the 400 meter dash at the Nike Indoor Nationals and ninth at the Nike Outdoor Nationals...Came in fifth in the 200 meter dash and seventh in the 400 meter dash at the Taco Bell Classic.
Personal: Born on November 2, 1989…Son of Kimberly Ray and Wendell Higgs…Is the oldest of four…Siblings are Joshua Higgs, Justin Higgs and Madison Ray…Is a math major.
