Biography

High School: Was a three-sport letterwinner in football, basketball and track at Lafayette High…Led the track team to two district and regional titles and a state title as a senior during the indoor and outdoor track season…Holds the school record in the triple jump (47’9.75), the 110 hurdles (14.59) and 300 hurdles (39.5)…Second in the record standings in the long jump (22’8.50) and high jump (6’7)…A four-time Daily Press All-Star, three-time Daily Press All-Star of the Year…Was coached by Melvin Jones…Played wide receiver and defensive back on the football team…Helped the Rams to a 20-4 record, including a 12-1 finish during his senior season (the school’s only undefeated regular season)…Was apart of a District championship and two regional runner-up finishes…Set all receiving records at school…Earned All-District, All-State and All-Region honors…Coached by Paul Wheeler…Was on the honor roll and part of the SGA.
