Born October 14, 2002 … Son of Alan and Nadia Rachal … Sibling: Toni Rachal ... Hometown is Woodstock, Georgia … Majoring in Social Work … Expected to graduate May 2025 ... His career ambition is to be a Division 1 tennis coach and lead them to an NCAA Championship … Career objective after sports is to be a social worker or sports agent … Biggest influence is Arthur Ashe because “When I was very young me and my parents would watch old Arthur Ashe matches on the Tennis Channel and I did several research projects on him ... He struggled and faced adversity to pave the road for me and thousands of black boys” … He chose Morgan State because "I grew up around white people my whole life and I faced a lot of negative energy throughout my entire junior career, especially playing in the South. I was very lonely as there were not that many good black kids in the region and I found myself on an island all the time. I heard about Morgan State and when I researched and saw they had a black coach and won a championship I knew it was the school where not only I could excel, but I would be in an environment with people who looked like me and wanted to uplift me versus tear me down"  … the accomplishment he is most proud of "is making All Conference First team and All Tournament Team in my sophomore year. In my freshman year, I felt like I was robbed of getting Rookie of the Year, just because of what line I played, and the same for being placed on the Second Team when I knew that I was better than pretty much all the players that were in the first team. My sophomore year didn’t start out how I wanted to as I got injured and only played one match at the very end of the fall. So going into the spring I didn’t even know if I was the same player. But I worked hard and I proved what I already knew about myself, which is that I am not only one of the best players to represent Morgan, but I am one of the best players to play in the MEAC conference" ... being the highest ranked recruit in tennis "from Georgia … outside of tennis he enjoys playing chess, cooking and he follows other sports such as baseball and soccer, and he likes to watch anime.
