High School: was a standout prep athlete at Snow Hill High where he graduated in 2019 ... was a member of the indoor and outdoor track & field teams and the cross country team ... set school records in the 4x4, 4x8, 1600m and 3200m ... Personal Bests: 400m - 52s; 800m - 2:01; 1600m - 4:31; 3200m - 10:03; 3 mile - 16:16; 5k - 16:16 ... was also a member of the soccer team ... National Honors Society ... Mu Alpha Theta member ...
Personal: Born on February 18, 2001 ... son of Brent and Earnest Gould ... has two sisters, Kendall and Sloane Gould ... computer science major ... his career ambition is to be a website designer ... lists his father and high school coaches as his biggest sports influences - "My father raised me as a soccer player and continued to support me even when I switched to cross country; My coaches helped me get where I am in running and supported me all the way through" ... chose to attend Morgan State because "they offered me a spot of their team - I wasn't sure at first but the coaches had me visit the school one day and I immediately felt very welcomed and I decided this is where I want to be" ... the athletic accomplishment his is most proud of is "last season in indoor track where I became state champion in the 1600m, along with many other accomplishments all after suffering a serious injury the year before ... enjoys playing basketball, soccer, frisbee, ping pong, card games and playing video games.
