2009 (Sophomore): Set the school record, while running the 800m leg in the distance medley relay…Earned All-MEAC honors as a member of the 4X400 relay team, which finished as conference runner-ups…Qualified for IC4A indoor meet in the distance medley and 4X400m relays...Scored in the 1600m relay and the 1500 during outdoor season…Was a member of the IC4A qualifying 4X400m relay team.

2008 (Freshman): Ran a personal-best with a time of 4:04 in the 1500 meter prelims during the MEAC outdoor track and field championships, then ran another personal-best of 4:01 in the finals…Was part of the 4X400 meter relay team which ran 3:11 at the MSU Legacy Track Meet during the outdoor season.

High School: Ran track and field for Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High…Captured the 500m at the 2007 indoor state track and field championship…Was part of the 2006 track and field state championship 4x800m relay and was a key contributor to the 2005 outdoor state championship team and 2004 indoor state championship team…Was runner-up in the 1600m at the outdoor state championships, finalist in the 800 indoor and outdoor state championships…Set the record in the 800m with a time of 1:55 at the outdoor city track and field championships.

Personal: Born on Sept. 2, 1989…Son of Timothy and Roslyn Richardson…Has two siblings, Maria Richardson and Timothy Richardson Jr….Major is industrial engineering…Was the first in his family to graduate Valedictorian out of his high school class.
