Prior to coming to MSU, Marquis coached at the nationally-ranked Burlington Township High School in Burlington, NJ, where he won multiple State and National titles.
He was also the Assistant Coach for the All-Girl team at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, where he placed 5th in All-Girl D1A at UCA College Nationals. Additionally, Marquis has worked for Varsity Spirit for over 10 years, working for both the Universal Cheerleading Association and The Urban Cheerleading Experience.
Marquis has a Bachelors of Science in Public Health and a Masters degree in Health Administration, both from Rutgers University.
He is currently a doctoral student in Behavioral and Community Health at the University of Maryland, College Park.Â
