Bear Power Awards
The Bear Power Award is given to the Football Player that has achieved above standards set for their individual positions. There are four categories used to determine is a Football Player will be receiving a Bear Power Award. The categories are the Back Squat, Bench Press, Power Clean, and the 40 yard sprint. All positions on the Football team have standards that need to be met in order to receive a Bear Power Award. There are three different Bear Power Awards.
The first is the Grizzly Bear Award. This is the top award that a player can receive. The Football Player that has achieved a score between 99-100% within their position standards receives this award.
The second is the Kodiak Bear Award. This is awarded to the Football Player that has achieved a score between 92-98% within their position standards.
The third is the Black Bear Award. This is given to the Football Player that has achieved a score between 88-91% within their position standards.
