My objective is to enrich our athletes by instilling in them a winning attitude and relentless determination. I believe that doing the correct things and working hard at those things breeds success. I intend on using the facilities and equipment with the utmost efficiency to get the most out of the athletes.

 
Know Your Purpose and Set Objectives to Fulfill It
 

Purpose is the master of motivation and the mother of commitment. Making the choice to train your physical abilities indicates that you’ve recognized that your personal fulfillment is connected with your desire to achieve your physical potential. Purpose dictates performance, which influences satisfaction. When you become more satisfied with your physical status you will be more confident in achieving your personal goals. Remember that the nature of something is a powerful clue to its purpose and potential. If it’s in your nature to compete within a sport that requires a high level of power output and physical toughness, I believe that you will greatly benefit from this training program.

 

Purpose determines function, which necessitates design. When we determine function, it is then possible to prescribe or design a program specific to your needs. You have determined your sport and the position you are best suited for within that sport. The program that you choose should specifically be designed for your defined function. In addition, other factors such as training history, availability of facility and time allotment will factor into the best choice of program to meet the personal fulfillment of your purpose. That purpose will set a course because the end has been determined. If you stay focused, it will ultimately triumph. It will protect you from being busy but inefficient.

 

Vision is the ability to see the end from the beginning. Vision is a glimpse of purpose. Vision sets goals, which motivate a plan of action. Know your purpose. Visualize your ultimate goal. Set a plan of process goals to guide you toward your destination. The training techniques in this manual will assist you in achieving your dreams.
