MSU Cheerleading

Morgan State University's Cheerleading squad, under the direction of coaches Theresa Gibson and Kim Ross-Watkins, is one of the most respected cheerleading programs in the nation among Historically Black College and Universities.  From its' early origins of the "stomp, clap and shake" style of cheering to the stunting, jumping, and flipping of today's MSU cheerleaders, the program is rich in a tradition of athleticism as well as academic and occupational achievements.
