2018-19 (Sophomore at NJIT): Played in 26 games, including two starts...Recorded 154 points, 110 rebounds, 31 assists, 19 steals and 18 blocks…Averaged 5.9 points and 4.2 rebounds, which ranked fourth on the team...Reached double figures in scoring three times…Scored a season-best 13 points against Liberty (3/2) and North Florida (2/16) and Liberty (3/2)…Set a season-high four blocks, while adding nine points and tied a season-high seven rebounds against Lipscomb (1/15)...Tallied 10 points, five rebounds, three steals and a block against Kennesaw State (1/5)…Collected five rebounds, eight points and three blocks in the season opener at Saint Peter’s (11/6).
 
2017-18 (Freshman at NJIT): Totaled 189 points, 125 rebounds, 26 steals, 22 assists and 14 blocks…Played in 29 games, making 11 starts…Averaged 6.5 points and ranked third on the team with 4.3 rebounds per game…Notched double-digit scoring in five contests...Tied a career-high 16 points at Kennesaw State (2/1)…Grabbed a personal-best nine rebounds and added 11 points against North Florida (1/22)...Scored a career-high 16 points and had eight rebounds against Long Beach State (12/28)…Made her first collegiate start and finished with 11 points, six rebounds and four assists against Fairleigh Dickinson (11/16).
 
High School: Lettered in basketball at Neptune High School...Was an All-Group 3 first-team and second-team All-State honoree as a senior in 2016-17…Averaged 23 points per game as a senior and finished her career scoring over 1,700 points...Was named to NJ.com's All-Junior first-team and Class B North first-team...Recorded two 36-point performances and seven 30+ games as a junior and notched double-digit scoring that season in every game (27) but one for Neptune.
 
Personal: Desiree "Dez" Katherine Allen was born on November 15, 1999 in Neptune, New Jersey...Daughter of Jessica Doyle and Michael Allen...Is in graduate school at Morgan State, majoring in Marketing…Career ambitions include taking after her dad as an entrepreneur and gain his knowledge of the business world and taking after her mom with her knowledge of technology tools like Microsoft Excel to successfully begin and run her own business…Also wants to get into real estate…Hobbies are binge watching everything on Netflix and listening to music.
