Biography

Timus at Morgan State:  Young athletic player...a slasher with tremendous upside...the only returner out of the 2002-2003 freshman class...has shown tremendous improvement this summer...the coaching staff feels that this should be his best season yet.

As a sophomore:
Started in 18 of 24 games played...scored in double-figures 7 times...shot 7-12 from the field for 16 points and 7 rebounds in 28 minutes vs. Seton Hall (11/22/03)...scored 15 points (6-9 FG) and grabbed a rebound in 28 minutes of action against Fairleigh Dickinson (11/25/03)...recorded career-high 19 points and shot 8-11 from the field with 4 boards in 34 minutes against Hampton (2/2/04)...collected career-high 9 rebounds with 12 points in 28 minutes against Florida A&M (2/9/04)...completed the 2003-04 season by averaging 6.5 ppg, 3.9 rpg and shot 41% from the field.

As a freshman:  Played 24 minutes in his first game as a Bear and scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds against Loyola College in the first round of the Battle of Baltimore...scored 6 points and had 4 rebounds in 14 minutes vs. Towson (11/23/02)...scored 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in 19 minutes vs. Fairleigh Dickinson...recorded 8 points and 7 rebounds in the rematch against Towson (12/20/02)...played 17 minutes and had 8 points and 4 rebounds against TX A&M-CC (12/27/02)...shot 5-for-6 from the field for 15 points and 7 rebounds against Hampton (1/11/03)...matched season-high 15 points, 4 rebounds, and a block against Delaware St. (1/20/03)...shot 5-of-6 from the line for 11 points and 8 rebounds in 18 minutes vs. MD-Eastern Shore...was perfect 6-6 FT for 13 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists vs. Hampton...averages 6.9 ppg, 4.1 rpg, and started in 5 out of 25 regular season games played.

High School Experience:  Four year lettermen...averaged 24.6 ppg, 11 rpg, and led team to a 2nd place conference finish as a senior at Woodrow Wilson HS under coach Alex brown...averaged 20 ppg during his prep career...scored 40+ points twice...three-time All-League selection...All-Metro...All-American Honorable Mention...outstanding academic career...member of the Student Government and Latin Club...tutored at Harrison Elementary.
