2014 (Sophomore): Named to the MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team…Was a second-team Morgan State Academic honoree…Started in all 17 games she played, before having to sit the remainder of the season due to medical reasons…Had a .283 batting average with 15 hits in 53 at bats…Totaled seven runs, two doubles, 17 total bases and 7 RBIs…Finished 2-for-2 in stolen bases…Went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs against Rider (2/22) during the Aggie Softball Invitational…Had a season-high three hits and scored a season-high three runs to go with 2 RBIs against Thomas (2/8) at the Savannah State Tournament.
 
2013 (Freshman): Was a first-team Morgan State Academic honoree…Started in all 43 games…Tallied a .281 batting average, which ranked third on the team…Ranked second in hits with 36 and RBIs with 19…Scored 12 runs, had 3 doubles, two triples and a homerun…Tallied six walks and was 2-for-2 in stolen bases…Had a season-high 3 RBIs with two runs scored against Howard (5/1)…Went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI at Maryland Eastern Shore (4/27)…Was 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs and a walk at Mount St. Mary’s (4/17)…Hit her first collegiate homerun and finished 1-for-3 with 2 RBI and a run against Georgetown (3/17)…Went 1-for-1 with a triple and a stolen base at Savannah State (2/9) in her first collegiate game.
 
High School: Was a two-sport standout at Broadneck High…Helped the Bruins win back-to-back Maryland State softball championships in 2009 and 2010…Also played forward on the basketball squad...Was a honor roll student.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Chuck Salvas and Michelle McDowell…Has five siblings...Major is nursing…Her athletic goal is to help the Lady Bears win the MEAC Tournament…Enjoys snowboarding, riding motorcycles, and basketball…Lists her parents as her biggest influences on her life as an athlete because they took her to all her games and put her in all the right clubs.
