Head Coach Kenny Monday praised the team's effort and competitive spirit in its season debut.
"I'm proud of the way our guys competed today. We came out with a lot of energy, battled through some tough matches, and showed what we're capable of as a team. Winning three individual titles and having all 11 wrestlers place is a great way to start the season. We know there's still work to do, but this is a solid foundation for us to build on as we continue to get better."
The Bears will look to build on their strong opening performance as they continue to sharpen their technique and consistency against top competition.
