BALTIMORE, Md. (Oct. 3, 2026)--In the first 410 Clash on the Lanes, Coppin State hosted Morgan State at AMF Woodlawn in Gwynn Oak, Maryland. Coppin pulled off the victory in the event with wins in both matches.
 
Coppin rolled an 884 in the five-game baker matches to the Bears' 701. Kyra Italien and Lindora Kamalu both filled six of eight frames for the Bears. Kamalu also struck on 50% of her frames during the match.
 
In the traditional match, Coppin State grabbed the second victory 852-787. Italien led the team with 177, while freshman Amari Thompson added 172, and Jamaya Mayers rolled a 170. 
 
Morgan State will be in action next at the Golden Bear Invitational on October 17-18 at Berks Lanes in Sinking Spring, Pa.
