BALTIMORE, Md. (Jan. 19, 2025) -- The Morgan State wrestling team delivered a commanding performance, securing a decisive 37-12 victory against the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays in the first-ever meeting between the two schools Sunday afternoon.
The contest showcased a blend of skill and dominance, highlighted by two technical falls and two pins. Additionally, the Bears capitalized on two wins by forfeit, complemented by a strong decision victory that rounded out their impressive score.
This match not only improved Morgan State's overall record to 4-9 but also marked a significant milestone as their first home win of the season.
The Bears prepare for their upcoming showdown against the Binghamton Bearcats on February 7. With a few weeks of rest and training ahead, the team is focused on enhancing their performance.
