BALTIMORE, MD. - Join us at the exquisite Hilton Garden Inn in White Marsh, Md. on August 16, 2024, for an unforgettable evening at the Sneaker Soiree Fundraising Event. This exclusive event, presented by the Morgan State Athletic Department, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., will support a worthy cause.
The Sneaker Soiree is a fundraiser to generate financial resources to provide cultural enrichment for student-athletes in order to enhance their academic and athletic experience. It also creates opportunities for Morgan State Athletic supporters to connect, bond, and celebrate Morgan. Your partnership will benefit Morgan State Student-Athletes. All proceeds will support the AD's Fund at the Morgan State University Foundation.
"This event is our initial fundraiser, aimed at enriching student-athletes culturally and socially," said Sterling Steward, Senior Associate Athletics Director/Chief Revenue Officer. "Our goal is to nurture the complete individual—mind, body, and soul—in order to become a global leader for our society."
The Sneaker Soiree will feature an array of captivating attractions to entertain and inspire attendees. There will be a silent auction, cigar lounge, Live DJ, light refreshments, and a cash bar.
Vice President/Director of Athletics Dena Freeman-Patton is deliberate in her resolve to provide student-athletes with a holistic collegiate experience. These individuals are more than athletes; they are the next generation of leaders. It is our responsibility to develop them in all productive aspects of life. This event is an excellent start to generating funding to achieve that goal.
