Morgan State's NCAA Run Ends in Regional Round

DURHAM, N.C., May 18, 2024 – The Morgan State softball team's season ended with a 1–0 loss to the University of Utah softball team in the regional round of the 2024 NCAA Division 1 Softball Tournament.  

Victoria Fletcher threw a full game giving up one run on eight hits with one strikeout. Four Bears players recorded a hit throughout the game, but MSU was not able to send a run across the plate. 

The Utes scored a run in the bottom of the third inning as the game's lone score on an RBI single.  

Morgan State's historic season concludes with a 35-20 overall record, setting the school record for wins.
