BALTIMORE, Md. (Oct. 12, 2023)--Morgan State head women's basketball coach Ed Davis, Jr., has announced the upcoming 2023-24 schedule. The 29-game slate consists of 15 non-conference contests along with the traditional home-and-home Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) matchups, that make up the remaining 14 games.

Last season the Lady Bears finished 17-12 overall, 10-4 in the MEAC, which was good for second in the league standings. Morgan State was once again extremely tough at home, finishing with an 11-2 mark at Hill Field House, setting the school record for most home wins in a season. The Lady Bears would advance to the Postseason WNIT first round, where they faced Wake Forest on the road. It was just the second time the program reached postseason play on the Division I level.
Morgan State had four players earn all-conference honors with
Charlene Shepherd and
Ja'Niah Henson receiving First-Team All-MEAC, while
Taylor Addison was named to the All-MEAC Third Team and
