BALTIMORE, Md. (July 13, 2021) – Morgan State University Vice President and Director of Athletics Dr. Edward Scott has been named 3^rd Vice President of the Division I Football Championship Subdivision Athletics Directors Association (FCS ADA) for the 2021-22 membership year.
 
This marks the third appointment for Dr. Scott since March when he was appointed to the NCAA Playing Rules Oversight Panel for a four-year term that will begin on Sept. 1. In June he was named President of the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA). Dr. Scott had previously served as MOAA's vice president for the past two years.
 
Along with Dr. Scott, the following athletics directors will serve as FCS ADA Officers for the 2021-22 membership year: President Nicki Moore, director of athletics at Colgate; 1^st Vice President Tom Michael, director of athletics at Eastern Illinois University; 2^nd Vice President Milton Overton, director of athletics at Kennesaw State University. 
 
In addition to the 2021-22 Officers, the following directors of athletics will serve on the FCS ADA Executive Committee: Brad Teague, University of Central Arkansas (ASUN); Mark Orr, Sacramento State (Big Sky); Chris King, Robert Morris University (Big South); Mark Benson, University at Albany (Colonial); Vicky Chun, Yale University (Ivy);  David Herbster, University of South Dakota (Missouri Valley); Jeremy Gibson, Merrimack College (Northeast); Kurt McGuffin, University of Tennessee at Martin (Ohio Valley); Tim Murray, Marist University (Pioneer); Mark Wharton, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (Southern); Richard Duran, University of the Incarnate Word (Southland); Derek Horne, Alcorn State University (SWAC); and Ryan Ivey, Stephen F. Austin State University (WAC). In addition, Beth DeBauche, Commissioner of the Ohio Valley Conference, will continue to serve as the Association's Commissioner Representative on the Executive Committee.
