PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Morgan State men's tennis team suffered a 4-3 loss to Drexel at the Armory on Sunday afternoon, with the Dragons' Sanil Jagtiani clinching the victory with a win over Oguzhan Ceylan.

"We lost a tough match today, that we really let slip," said MSU coach Matthew Townes. " We were in control of the singles at No. 3 and No. 4, but mentally we aren't strong enough yet."

"I look forward to our next match in correcting our unforced errors that cost us this match."

The Dragons won all three doubles matches.

Hamza Laalej and Sinan Orhon teamed up to win the top doubles point, 6-3, over Arjun Ramakrishnan and Nihit Rawal. Lucas Krusinksi and Sebastian Lopez fell to Balaji Lakshmanan and Jagtiani at No. 2, 6-4, then Youssef Lahlou and Xandy Hammitt held on to defeat Serhi Kharchev and Oguzhan Ceylan 6-3 at No. 3.

Ramakrishnan recorded a hard fought 7-6, 1-6, 5-2 win against Hamza Laalej at No. 1 singles, while Gupta defeated Lahlou, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 5, and Rawal posted an 8-5 win against Hammitt at No. 6.
