Morgan State and the Highlanders square off on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. at Fleisher Athletic Center. NJIT is coming off a 92-39 home victory over College of St. Joseph's (Vermont) on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Morgan State, which is 2-0 against NJIT, with both games being played in Newark, defeated the Highlanders 59-45 in their last meeting on Feb. 14, 2008. In the series' first meeting on Nov. 13, 2006, Morgan State would become the first opponent for NJIT, who was entering its first year as a Division I program. The Lady Bears won that game, 63-55.
