The Collegiate Licensing Company ("CLC") is sponsoring "College Colors Day" on August 29, 2014, an annual event designed to encourage fans, alumnae, and students of colleges and universities across the country to wear their school's respective colors.
College Colors Day is an opportunity to celebrate Morgan State University, encourage the Morgan community to exhibit school pride, promote the upcoming football season and is also an opportunity to generate revenue from the sale of Morgan merchandise.
Additionally, as part of the 10th annual College Colors Day celebration, Morgan is participating in the Spirit Cup competition, a points-based rivalry competition that utilizes social media platforms to crown its champion, and we are asking for the Morgan community to help Morgan win this year's cup.
Prizes include a $10,000 donation towards the general scholarship fund as well as a chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to the College Football Playoff National Championship game. The winner will receive round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations, a $500 American Express gift card, and two tickets to the national championship game.
The Morgan community is encouraged to showcase their school spirit on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtags collegecolors and morganstate.

Fans can earn additional entries in the CFP sweepstakes by supporting Morgan in the Spirit Cup competition. Once registered for the CFP sweepstakes, each action that a fan takes to support MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY in the Spirit Cup competition earns them additional sweepstakes entries and increases their chances of winning.
