Hodges Stadium on the campus of the University of North Florida will host this weekend's NCAA East Regional Preliminary Round.

Jenea McCammon of the women's outdoor track and field team will represent the Lady Bears, as they head to Jacksonville, Fla. to compete in the 2014 NCAA Division I Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships East Preliminary. The participants were announced last Thursday, May 22
nd.
Mealer will compete this Thursday, May 29 at 5:30 p.m. in the javelin throw. Mealer qualified for the preliminaries, following her first-place mark of 148'8 during the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
McCammon, who will also compete on Thursday, will take part in the 400 meter hurdles at 5 p.m. McCammon qualified after running a winning time of 59.27 at the MEAC Outdoor Championships to capture gold.
The University of North Florida will host the East Preliminary Round this Thursday, May 29-Saturday, May 31 at Hodges Stadium. The qualifiers out of this region will compete in the NCAA Division I Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships held June 11-14 in Eugene, Oregon.
