Men’s Tennis Defeats Coppin State on Senior Day, 7-0

 
BALTIMORE, Md. – Morgan State men's tennis team emerged with a 7-0 victory over Coppin State for Senior Day at Morgan Courts.
 
The Bears improved to 3-11 on the spring and remain atop the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference North Division with a 3-0 record.
 
Friday marked the final regular season home match for seniors Dmitriy Borodkin and Jannick Tash who have been apart of back-to-back MEAC North Division Titles.
 
Morgan State's No.1 pairing of Duk Young-Park and Evan Ward defeated Daniel Nino and Krylchuk Oleksiy 8-3, while the sibling tandem of Joshua and Ty Abraham outlasted Roderick Peyton and Reginald Robinson for a 8-4 victory to help capture the doubles point.
 
In singles action, junior standout Duk Young-Park battled to a 7-6, 6-1 victory at No. 1 against Daniel Nino. Evan Ward posted a 4-6, 6-2 (10-8) win against Krylchuk Oleksiy at No. 2 singles.
 
Joshua Abraham, Dmitry Borodkin, Ty Abraham and Jannick Tash respectively closed out the match with singles victories to remain unblemished in conference play.
 
Morgan State will conclude the regular season when it travels to the nation's capitol to square-off against the Howard Bison. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
