BALTIMORE, Md. (Aug. 5, 2013)-The Morgan State women's basketball team will travel to Stony Brook, N.Y. to take on Stony Brook at Pritchard Gymnasium on Monday, Nov. 25. The game will mark the third consecutive season that the two teams will face each other. The Seawolves lead the all-time series, 3-1.

Moneshia Davis knocked down a three-pointer from the left corner with 10.1 seconds remaining in overtime to help the Lady Bears defeat Stony Brook, 66-63 at Hill Field House (11/18/12). Davis finished the afternoon with a game-high 19 points, including 5-of-8 from three-point range, while fellow senior
Bianca Jarrett also scored a game-high 19 points. The Lady Bears led by as much as 15 points and never trailed in regulation.
Stony Brook was led by Jessica Previlon, who came off the bench and tallied a double-double with a team-high 17 points and a game-high 13 rebounds. Natalie Myers and Brittany Snow added 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Stony Brook is coached by Beth O'Boyle, who in two seasons at the helm, carries an 18-42 record into the 2013-14 season. The Seawolves would finish the 2012-13 campaign with a 14-16 overall mark, including a 6-10 record and fourth-place finish in the America East Conference. The squad concluded the season with a 10-win improvement from the 2011-12 season.
