BALTIMORE, Md. (Aug. 3, 2013)-The Morgan State women's basketball team will travel to Raleigh, N.C. for its first road trip of the season, when it takes on North Carolina State on Monday, Nov. 18 at Reynolds Coliseum.
The contest will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams and will mark the Lady Bears' first game against an Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) opponent since a 56-69 loss at Virginia in the first round of the 2011 postseason Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT).
N.C. State will be led by first-year head coach Wes Moore, who in 24 years of coaching brings a 558-169 career record to Raleigh. Moore will take over a Wolfpack squad which finished 17-17 overall, 7-11 in ACC play and placed seventh.
