BALTIMORE, Md. (July 19, 2012)-The Lady Bears basketball team will host the Columbia Lions on Friday, Nov. 23 at Hill Field House.
The contest will be the second of a season-long four-game homestand for the Lady Bears. Last season the Lady Bears ended a 10-game losing skid, following a 70-66 road victory at Columbia to even the all-time series at 1-1.
Columbia (3-25, 1-13 Ivy League) finished the 2011-12 season dropping 15 of its final 16 contests, including the last four. The Lions return Tyler Simpson, who last season received honorable mention All-Ivy League honors as a junior. Simpson led Columbia in scoring with an average of 12.6 points per game and ranked third in rebounding with 4.5 boards per outing.
