Morgan State To Host Annual Legacy Meet On April 20-21

BALTIMORE, Md. (April 12, 2012)-Morgan State alumni, students, friends and family and track fans in general, it's almost that time again! The annual Morgan State Legacy Meet returns to Hughes Stadium on Friday, April 20th and concludes on Saturday, April 21st.

Those athletes that competed during the 1960s will be honored, as this year's Legacy Meet will honor the MSU track and field classes of 1961-65. The meet gets underway on Friday at noon with the decathlon and heptathlon along with the men's and women's javelin and hammer throw.

Day 2 gets underway on Saturday with the conclusion of the decathlon and heptathlon, followed by the start of the rest of the field events: shot put, discus, pole vault, high jump, long jump and triple jump. The running events get started at with the 3000 steeplechase.
