GAME TIME
• Morgan State will face the Md-Eastern Shore Hawks in a rematch on Saturday, Feb. 25 set to tip at 4 p.m. MSU will attempt to build upon its victory Wednesday night at Coppin State. UMES will look to rebound from a 53-51 home loss against Howard.
BEAR BITS
• MSU's 91 points against the Eagles were the most points the Bears have scored this season, and also the most points scored by the Bears since defeating Florida A&M 94-68 on Feb. 7, 2010.
• Aric Brooks scored a career-high 19 points and
Justin Black 17 as Morgan State pulled away late for a 91-80 victory over Coppin State on Wednesday night after squandering a 21-point first-half lead.
• Freshman guard
Jeremy Canty had a season-high 12 points during the Bears win at Coppin State.
• MSU will look to improve upon a 3-9 road record.
• Morgan State has combined to shoot well over 50 percent from the field and have scored 172 points (86 ppg) during their last two wins.

• The Bears completed the 2010-11 season with a 17-14 mark and posted a 10-6 conference record.
• Morgan State was selected to win the MEAC Regular Season Title, edging out last year's MEAC Tournament Champion Hampton. The Bears received eight (8) first place votes and a totaled 616 points to take hold of the conference's top spot going into the season.

JACKSON RETURNS TO THEFTY WAYS
Nearly all of
DeWayne Jackson's numbers improved this season from last season, with one notable: Steals. Through his first 24 games, Jackson is averaging 1.8 steals per game (No. 5 in the MEAC), up from 1.4 during the 2010-11. He has recorded 115 thefts in his career and collected a career-high 5 steals in the Bears win against Liberty in a Sears Bracketbusters matchup.

Todd Bozeman his 109th victory as MSU's head coach.
• Give the Bears its fourth road victory of the season and its fifth

THE SERIES VS. THE HAWKS
• Saturday night's game will be the 81st meeting between Morgan State and UMES in men's basketball. The Bears hold a 49-31 advantage in the series.
• The Bears have won nine of the last 10 meetings against UMES, however, the Hawks posted a 68-56 victory at Hill Field House on February 11, 2012.
• The last time MSU defeated the Hawks at W.P. Hytche Athletic Center was Jan. 24, 2011.
Kevin Thompson had a field day inside where he scored 10 of his team-high 20 points in the first half and hauled down eight rebounds, helping Morgan State dismantle the Hawks of MD-Eastern Shore 74-60 Monday night at W.P. Hytche Center. Morgan State outrebounded the Hawks by a 35-29 margin and hounded them into committing 19 turnovers.
NOTE ON THE HAWKS
• UMES has lost its last three games, including four of its last five ... the last was a 53-51 loss at home against Howard.
• Junior guard
Percy Woods (Hyattsville, Md.) is UMES' leader in the scoring department. Woods is currently averaging 10.7 points per game ranks No. 11 in the MEAC in assists (3.0/g).
• UMES is among the league leaders in rebounding. The Hawks rank No. 4 in the league in rebounding margin (+0.4) and No. 6 in rebounding defense (35.8/g).
• Senior preseason All-MEAC second team selection
Hillary Haley (Fort Washington, Md.) is the Hawks' second leading scorer (10.3 ppg) and is averaging 4.3 rebounds per contest.

Morgan State currently ranks No. 4 in the MEAC in blocked shots by averaging 4.5 blocks per game.
LOOKING AHEAD
MSU will travel to Dover (Del.) to take on Delaware State on Monday, Feb. 27. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The Hornets defeated MSU 74-73 in their first matchup at Hill Field House on February 13, 2012.
