GAME TIME
• Morgan State will face the Delaware State Hornets on Monday, Feb. 13 in a conference matchup set to tip at 7:30 p.m. MSU will attempt to snap a five-game losing streak when the Hornets come to Hill Field House. DSU will attempt to add to its win total following an 84-81 victory at Coppin State on Saturday. Casey Walker led the Hornets with 24 points and had six rebounds.
BEAR BITS
• MSU has won eight of the last nine meetings against the Hornets.
• Justin Black scored a team-high 12 points, but the Bears lost to UMES for the first time since 2006. Percy Woods scored 21 points, including connecting on three 3-pointers and 10 foul shots, to lead the Hawks to a 68-56 win at Hill Field House.
• Morgan State will enter Monday night's contest having lost five straight, including six of its last seven games.
• The Bears have used five different starting lineups in their first 22 games.
• Kevin Thompson has scored in double-digits in 14 of 22 games, and has posted six double-doubles (pts & rebs) so far this season.

• Morgan State was selected to win the MEAC Regular Season Title, edging out last year's MEAC Tournament Champion Hampton. The Bears received eight (8) first place votes and a totaled 616 points to take hold of the conference's top spot going into the season.

THE SERIES VS. THE HORNETS
• Monday night's game will be the 87th meeting between Morgan State and DSU in men's basketball. The Bears hold a 47-39 advantage in the series.
• Last time vs. UMES (Feb. 23, 2011):
Kevin Thompson pulled down 12 rebounds as Morgan State ruled the boards and defeated Delaware State 42-39 in the lowest-scoring game of the season for both teams. Without a player scoring in double figures, the Bears (15-10, 10-3, Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) won their fifth straight by outrebounding Delaware State 42-24.
Adam Braswell had nine points to lead MSU.
• The last time Delaware State defeated the Bears was on Jan. 22, 2010. Jay Threat hit two free throws and Casey Walker drained a 3-pointer in the final moments to help Delaware State snap the Bears' 3-game winning streak with a 70-65 victory Saturday night before a packed crowd at Memorial Hall.

NOTE ON THE HORNETS
• DSU had an 8-game losing streak before turning their season around by winning its last six games, including the Hornets' 84- 81 win at Coppin State on Saturday.
• Junior guard Tahj Tate (Hyattsville, Md.) is among the conference leaders in the scoring department. Tate ranks as the No. 5 leading scorer by averaging 15.9 points per game and is shooting 77.8 percent from the free throw line (No. 9 in MEAC).
• DSU is the league leaders in blocked shots by averaging 6.7 blocks per contest. The Hornets also rank No. 3 in the league in 3-point field goal percentage (.349) and No. 4 in field goal percentage (.433).
LOOKING AHEAD
MSU will host Liberty as a part of ESPN Bracketbusters weekend. The matchup will take place on Saturday, Feb. 18 at Hill Field House. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
