CELEBRATING ITS TWENTY-SECOND SUCCESSFUL YEAR, the MSU Foundation's Annual Golf Tournament is one of the oldest golf tournaments held at the prestigious Turf Valley. The tournament is scheduled for Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Turf Valley Resort and Conference Center in Marriottsville, Maryland. The tournament averages more than 132 golfers using one of Turf Valley's two 18-hole courses nestled in the lovely countryside of Ellicott City,Maryland. The courses are located approximately 15 miles west of Baltimore on US Route 40.
Proceeds fromthe Tournament support the Morgan State University Athletics Scholarship Fund. The university has made tremendous strides in improving its athletic facilities over the past five years. As the athletics program grows, our financial obligation continues to grow. This event helps to move Morgan Athletics to the national forefront and provides our student athletes and coaches an equal opportunity for success. Over the past seven years, this tournament has donated more than $100,000 to the Athletics Scholarship Fund.
