2010-11 Morgan State Women's Track & Field
BALTIMORE, Md. (Nov. 30, 2010)-The Morgan State Lady Bears' indoor track and field team will kick-off their 2010-11 season this Wednesday, Dec. 1, when they travel to Annapolis, Md. to compete in the Navy Lidlifter, hosted by the United States Naval Academy (Navy).
The action gets underway at 5 p.m. at the Wesley A. Brown Field House with the weight throw, high jump and long jump, followed by the triple jump. The 1600m and 3200m relays are scheduled for 7:25 p.m. and 7:35 p.m., respectively.
The meet, which will be double-dual scored, will also feature host Navy, Mount St. Mary's, Towson, William & Mary and American. The top eight places in each event will score with the top two individual finishers/top one relay per school being scored. Each competitor in the field events will receive four attempts in throws and jumps in their respective event.
