TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –Brandon Bryant scored 16 points and Florida A&M hit 5 of 6 free throws in the final 30 seconds to beat Morgan State 63-58 on Saturday.

The Rattlers (5-10, 3-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), won their third straight game, are in a four-way tie atop the conference standings with Morgan State (8-9, 3-1), Bethune-Cookman and Hampton.

Reggie Holmes' 3-pointer with 17.5 seconds would cut the Bears' deficit to one. But Larry Jackson and Brandon Bryant each hit two free-throws for the Rattlers in the final 17 seconds and Morgan State's Jermaine Bolden missed a 3-pointer.

Bryant led Florida A&M with 16 points, while Yannick Crowder added 10.

Holmes led Morgan State with 16 points and Bolden adding 11.

Morgan State returns to action on Monday, Jan. 19, when they take on Bethune-Cookman at 2 p.m. at Moore Gymnasium.
