BALTIMORE, Md. (Aug. 6, 2008)-Morgan State sophomore Issac Richardson placed second in the young men's 1500 meter run at the Amateur Athletic Union Track & Field National Championships, which was held July 26 through August 2 in Detroit, Mich.
Richardson, who runs for the Baltimore City Track team, finished the 1500 meter event with a time of 4:02.43, behind race winner Darwin Price (3:58.13) of St. Louis. Richardson was also a member of the 4X800 relay team, which placed third with a time of 7:55.99.
