STORRS, Conn. (AP) -- Reggie Holmes scored 21 points as Morgan State beat Ohio Valley 77-66 Thursday in the losers bracket of the 2K Sports College Hoops Classic.
Holmes, who hit six 3-pointers Wednesday night in a loss to Connecticut, was 3-of-5 from 3-point range to lead the Bears (1-1). #Marquise Kately# had 15 points and Jerrel Green added 12.
Chris Leborious had 19 points and Omar Campbell 17 for Ohio Valley.
Morgan State had 38 points off 21 Ohio Valley turnovers.
Kately, a junior transfer from California, had 11 first-half points, as Morgan State (1-1) built up a 44-32 lead at intermission.
Ohio Valley (0-2) went on an 11-2 run after the break to cut the lead to 46-43, but could not get closer.
