RICHMOND, Va. – The Morgan State Lady Bears captured their seventh consecutive All-Girls first place finish at the 2005 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Coca-Cola Cheerleading Championship held on Saturday, March 12 in the Arthur Ashe Center in Richmond, VA. Coppin State and Delaware State followed in second and third place respectively.North Carolina A&T State captured its second consecutive MEAC Championship by edging out Norfolk State and Morgan State. The Aggies also earned first place honors in the Co-ed division.

The MEAC All-Star first team included Rochelle Logan and Christy Keene of Morgan State; Reggie Thomas and Keyanna McQueen of Coppin State; Brandon Flowers of Maryland-Eastern Shore; Ginger Bynum of Delaware State; and Adryan Williams of N.C. A&T. On the MEAC All-Star second, Danielle Adkins and Ashley Woodard of NSU; Monique Walker and Wanakee Means; of South Carolina State; Theresa Oxendine of UMES; Diane Salvador of Delaware State; and Orren Mocklin of North Carolina A&T.
