Bradshaw Littlejohn was named to the 2004 SBN Black College All-American Team.
PITTSBURGH, PA. -- The American Urban Radio Networks has announced that Bradshaw Littlejohn and Kelvin Dickens have been named to the 2004 Sheridan Broadcasting Network (SBN) Black College All-American team.
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) led the way with nine (9) players selected as members of the 2004 SBN Black College All-American Team.
Littlejohn, a 6'3, 238-pound senior quarterback from Gaffney, SC, had a stellar season and finished as the MEAC Offensive Player of the Year. Littlejohn passed for 2,643 yards and led the conference by averaging 240.3 yards per game with 18 touchdowns. "Big Show" was also a monster in the ground game as he collected 770 yards (5.6 avg) and scored 18 touchdowns. He was one of the keys to the success of the MEAC's No. 1 ranked offense that averaged 458 yards per game.
Dickens completed his junior season as one of the most dominant receivers in the MEAC. The 6'3, 200-pound wideout from Bowie, MD, recorded 47 catches for 1,019 yards and seven touchdowns. Dickens was the MEAC's leading receiver averaging 21.7 yards per catch and ranked No. 15 in I-AA.
The 2004 SBN All-American Team, along with the SBN/Jake Gaither Black College National Champions, the Hampton Pirates, and the SBN/Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year, will be honored during the 31st SBN Black College All-American Awards gala to be held on Saturday, February 19, 2004 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia.
