Larry Dixon scored his first two career touchdowns at the New York Urban League 34th Annual Football Classic last Saturday night.
BALTIMORE, Md. – Morgan State University’s Larry Dixon was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week, the league announced today.
Dixon (6-1, 180, R-Fr., Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS) recorded his best game as the Bears squared-off with the No. 20 ranked Hampton Pirates last Saturday at the New York Urban League 34th Annual Football Classic in East Rutherford, NJ.
The redshirt freshman pounced on a punt block for his first career touchdown. He scored again when he caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from senior QB Bradshaw Littlejohn.
The Bears (1-3, 0-1 MEAC) will be back in action this Saturday when they take on the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman (2-1, 1-0 MEAC) at Hughes Stadium on the campus of Morgan State University. Kick-off is scheduled for (EST).
