Lady Bears lose 6th consecutive game on Saturday to B-CC.

The Morgan State University Lady Bears (1-19, 1-10) struggled to find scoring, as they fell to Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona on Saturday afternoon. MSU lost by a final count of 70-30.
MSU's shooting woes continued. The Lady Bears shot only 24% from the field, and Morgan shot blanks from beyond the arc. Morgan was 0-12 from three point range on Saturday.
The Lady Bears were dominated on the boards. B-CC had a commanding 62-32 advantage on the glass.
Morgan State also turned the ball over 22 times to the Lady Wildcats.
MSU did not have any players score in double figures. Freshman Whitney Johnson led the way for MSU with 8 points. Sarissa Gaskins poured in 6 points.
Morgan State was down 30-16 at the break, and never seriously threatened for the remainder of the game.
B-CC was led by Katie Clark who scored 16 points. Lauren Forsthoff had a dozen for the Lady Wildcats, and Sarah Johnson enjoyed a 10 point afternoon.
MSU returns to action Monday night to take on the Lady Rattlers of Florida A&M in a 5:30p.m. tip-off at Gaither Gymnasium on the FAMU campus.
