The Morgan State Lady Bears bounced back from a 2 game deficit to defeat Bethune-Cookman College 3-2 and advance to the MEAC Tournament Semi-Finals on Friday.
This one was not easy, however MSU showed guts and determination in coming back to dispatch the 3rd seeded Lady Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman College and keep their hopes of a MEAC title alive.
Morgan State lost the first two games 30-25 and 30-27, but managed to regoup and put the Lady 'Cats away by sweeping the final three games by scores of 30-28,30-27 and 15-13.
The win means the Lady Bears will advance to the MEAC Tournament semi-finals to tangle with the Lady Hawks of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore on Friday evening.
MSU and UMES split their two matches this season.
