Janice Smythe

Janice Smythe is entering her second year as a graduate assistant with the Morgan State track & field program. No stranger to Morgan State, she brings first hand experience to the track and field program, as she was a member of the 2005 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship team. Smythe was a 2006 NCAA All-Academic Scholar and an NCAA qualifier in the 400m Hurdles. 

Smythe was also an NCAA Regional Qualifier in the 400m and 400m hurdles in 2006 and 2007, an ECAC finalist in the 400m and 400m hurdles and earned several MEAC honors and awards.

Smythe earned her B.S. in accounting from Morgan State University in 2007 and is currently pursuing her MBA.
