Senior WideoutColumbia, MarylandMajor: AccountingAndrew King is ready to ride the momentum of a sensational junior campaign and propel his game to the next level for his final season within the Morgan State offense. The Columbia, Maryland native was the most productive receiver for the Bears despite missing the first four games of the 2014 season. He finished with a team-high 42 catches for 508 yards and six touchdowns.  As a returning veteran and one of 11 seniors for the Bears, King is primed to contribute much more on offense in 2015 and should contend for postseason honors. King and the Bears will open the 2015 season on the road against Air Force on Saturday, Sept. 5.
Student LifeWhat is the best time of year on campus? "The fall, of course! (laughs) On the field, the football team is making it happen and hopefully we'll get some fans out there to fill up Hughes Stadium this year.
What is your major and why did you choose it?"Â "Accounting. Back in high school, I was really good with numbers and realized that I could use it in the future within the realms of budgeting and much more."
What has been your favorite or most interesting class at MSU? "Business Leadership with Professor Marjorie Adams. She's a really great teacher. She is very informative and gives us a lot of knowledge."
If you had to give an incoming student advice, what would it be? "Do the right thing. Listen to the coaches and listen to the professors."
Describe your first day as a student at Morgan State. "I don't really remember it that well, but I do remember that coming in as a freshman I was really nervous. I didn't know what exactly to do, so I just followed directions.
What do you like most about Morgan State? "Probably the people here. They're well rounded in different areas, so it's good to connect with them."

Which team do you most look forward to competing against? "Not one team at all. Every team."
Do you have any pre-game/match superstitions or rituals? "No, just the usual. I just listen to gospel and that's about it."
What is your favorite part about your sport? "Playing and being around the team."
What is your favorite athletic memory? "When I made the game-winning catch against N.C. Central at Homecoming last year."

What is your top skill as a wideout? "Bringing my best every day and trying to get others to bring it with me."
When did you start playing football? "When I was about 8 or 9 years old."
When you are not at practice, what could someone find you doing? "In my room." (laughs)
What do you most look forward to doing during the upcoming season? "Making the team better."
MiscellaneousIf you were a superhero, what would your super power be? "Super speed like The Flash." (laughs)
Do you have an interesting nickname? "(laughs) Everybody calls me Snake. It originated from playing Monopoly, and after that everybody started calling me Snake."
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received? "My parents always said to just always keep pushing for what you want to do."
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? "Maybe my height. I'd be taller."  (laughs)
Person you admire most? "My parents."
Coolest thing you did this summer? "Just being up here and working out with the team."
Most prized possession? "It's probably this cross necklace that I got from my mom."
If you could have dinner with 3 people, alive or dead, who would they be? "Both of my grandparents… just them."
