Danielle Robinson is a redshirt sophomore guard on the women's basketball team, who last season averaged 5.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. A native of Woodbridge, Va., Robinson finished second on the team last season in three-pointers made (30) and second in blocks with 12. The Lady Bears will tip-off the 2014-15 season on  the road against the Georgia Bulldogs on Friday, Nov. 14th. The first game at Hill Field House will be on Tuesday, Nov. 18th when the Lady Bears host Wesley College.

Student Life
Where is the best place to study on campus? I would have to say the second or third floor of the library.
Why did you choose to major in Sociology? Sociology is very broad. I don't know exactly what I want to do, I just want to work with kids.
My favorite class at Morgan State is? My favorite class would have to be Sociology 101 and Anthropology 110.
Who is your favorite professor and why? Professor Howell. She gets the point across and she teaches, but makes class fun.
Describe your first day as a student at Morgan State University? I was very open to see new things -- My eyes were big.
What do you like most about Morgan State? It's like a family, everybody is really connected.
Why did you choose Morgan State? Honestly, I was first committed to Louisville, but my GPA was not high enough. Morgan State called me during the last week of signing period I made my visit to the University that weekend and I made the decision to attend Morgan State.

Favorite TV show - I don't really watch TV only when basketball is on, anything basketball.
Favorite movie – Love and Basketball
Last concert attended – I attended the B2K Scream Tour back in 2004.

Sports
Favorite pro sports team – I don't really like teams, I like the players on the teams.
Favorite athlete – Lebron James
Favorite athletic memory – Being invited to all the Nike camps, and I was invited to try-out for the USA team in 2010, but I was a month too old for my class. My class is really 1994, but I was born in December, so I'm a 1993 baby. January 1st was the cutoff, and I was born December 6th, so I couldn't even tryout.
What is your top skill as a guard – My basketball I.Q.
What skill do you need to improve? Defense. I'm slow.
What is your pregame ritual? Listening to music.
 
Travel
Most interesting place you visited – I really liked Ramstein, Germany. My brother was in the Air Force and I was able to visit.
Place I would like to visit- Paris, London and Puerto Rico.
What's the best place you visited for basketball? Last summer I went to the University of Tennessee. I met Pat Summit -- my best friend (Cierra Burdick) plays for them. I basically got to live the Tennessee lifestyle for a week. It was very different from here [laughs].
 
Food
Favorite home cooked meal – Yams, macaroni cheese, fried turkey – Thanksgiving, basically.
Favorite snack – The Grandma Cookies in the blue bag.
Most underrated food that you like: Pot stickers from TGI Friday's.
Do you cook if so what's your favorite dish to cook? I put stuff in the oven. [laughs]
 
Misc.
Person I admire most – Cierra Burdick.
In 10 years, I would like to be –A college basketball coach.
If I had a million dollars, I would – Give back, get my mom and dad out of debt and get them straight for the years ahead -- and invest.
Coolest thing you did this summer –I went to Virginia Beach for the 4th of July.
Most prized possession – My car – a 2012 Nissan Altima.
For a day who would you like to trade places with? I would like to experience life in the WNBA world, and travel overseas.
Best piece of advice –Get knocked down seven times, stand up eight.  
If you could have dinner with 3 people alive or dead who would they be? My grandmother… I really didn't know her. I was 5 when she past away. I'd also have Candace Parker...  and Becky Hammon -- since she got the job as an assistant coach for the Spurs.
Dream event – The Grammys.
Nickname – D-Rob or Danny.

Early bird or Night Owl – Early bird.
Funniest person on team – Tracey Carrington and Zuri White.
Something nobody knows about you- I'm pretty much out there, I lived in Japan for 3 years.
