Student LifeWhere is the best place to study on campus? The best place would have to be the back of the library on any floor.
Why did you choose to major in Broadcast Journalism? I chose my major because if I had to choose any hobby other than basketball it would be in writing, because writing is something that I like to do.
My favorite class at Morgan State is? My favorite class is World Religion. I'm very interested in different religions.
Favorite professor and why? It's a tie for my favorite professor. They're both teachers in broadcast journalism. Professor Milton Kent and Dr. Frederick Kendrick. They both have similar teaching styles. Dr. Kendrick is younger than Professor Kent, but they stay in tune with what's current in the world. It makes it easier to relate to things going on outside the classroom, which makes things a lot more interesting.
If you were the University President for a day, what would you do? I would go around campus and communicate with the students and see what it is that they would like to see different.
Describe your first day as a student at Morgan State University? My first day I would have to say was a culture shock for me, coming from Columbia, Maryland. My high school was Montrose Christian School and it was very diverse, where here at Morgan [State] it's an HBCU.
What do you like most about Morgan State? I like the progression I've seen over the past three years. I've definitely seen a lot of positive changes and I'd like to keep seeing us move forward.
