Bowling Ranked 17th in Recent NTCA National Poll

BALTIMORE, Md. (Dec. 30, 2008)-The Lady Bears bowling team earned their first national ranking of the season, when it received a No. 17 ranking by the National Tenpins Coaches Association. This was the second poll by the NTCA, the coaches association of NCAA bowling, which has five scheduled polls during the 2008-09 season.

 

Morgan State (35-26, 20-10 MEAC), which received a total of 86 points, ranks third in the MEAC's North Division behind division leader Delaware State (No. 4) and defending national champion Maryland Eastern Shore (No. 5).

 

The Lady Bears return to action on Friday, Jan. 16, when they take part in the Mid-Winter Classic (Jan. 16-18) in Little Rock, Ark.
